About Semax Spray
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide based on the ACTH(4-10) fragment, originally developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Reconstitution steps from the dataset
- Prepare. If using pre-made nasal spray, skip to step 5. For powder reconstitution: clean vial top with alcohol.
- Add saline. Draw 2mL bacteriostatic saline (NOT water) and inject slowly into vial.
- Dissolve. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Solution should be clear.
- Transfer. Transfer solution to a sterile nasal spray bottle using a syringe. Each spray ≈ 0.1mL (200mcg at 5mg/mL).
- Administer. Tilt head back slightly. Insert nozzle into nostril and spray once. Alternate nostrils. Standard dose: 1-3 sprays (200-600mcg) 2-3x daily.
- Store. Refrigerate nasal spray. Use within 14-21 days after reconstitution.
