Increases BDNF protein levels (1.4-fold) and trkB tyrosine phosphorylation (1.6-fold), upregulates BDNF mRNA (3-fold) and trkB mRNA (2-fold) in hippocampus, modulates serotonergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission, activates MAPK/ERK signaling cascades.

- Prepare. If using pre-made nasal spray, skip to step 5. For powder reconstitution: clean vial top with alcohol.
- Add saline. Draw 2mL bacteriostatic saline (NOT water) and inject slowly into vial.
- Dissolve. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Solution should be clear.
- Transfer. Transfer solution to a sterile nasal spray bottle using a syringe. Each spray ≈ 0.1mL (200mcg at 5mg/mL).
- Administer. Tilt head back slightly. Insert nozzle into nostril and spray once. Alternate nostrils. Standard dose: 1-3 sprays (200-600mcg) 2-3x daily.
- Store. Refrigerate nasal spray. Use within 14-21 days after reconstitution.
